The Greek Crisis - Imminent Social Dead End
There is an imminent social dead end in Greece. 3 people have been killed.
Some of the citizens are against the IMF measures due to be implemented to the economy. The Athens city-center is now a war-zone.
I believe that these social reactions are just the start, the financial austerity measures are not even in place yet.
The Greek media have postponed their strike, so that people can watch the developments unfold. In the morning the only way to learn what was happening on the ground, was through twitter, Blogs, and the International media.
Do follow the hashtags #Athens - #imfgr - #Greece - #griots and keep up to date with what is happening.
Bellow you can see a video from what happened today
Again, To quote from my post "Short Selling the Greek Euro (3 March 2010)" Greece will face even more reactions to the austerity measures, not from the Europeans, or the International financial community, but from the Greek people; scenes like these from a recent rally in the streets of Athens will become a daily occurrence.
